Guilty Animals (Fringe 2021)

My play ‘Guilty Animals’ runs at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021 from this Saturday. It’s part of Bytesize Theatre, a trio of digital plays put on by EGTG. I wrote it earlier this year when it wasn’t clear whether or not we’d still be in lockdown or free to enjoy the Fringe as usual. I’m not sure we’ve answered that question yet. But at least I ended up with a play.

As with the rest of the Fringe online offerings this year, once you’ve bought your ticket, you can rewatch as many times as you like within the two weeks or so (if that’s your thing).

It’s my first experience of writing specifically for Zoom/video and then pretty much sitting back and seeing what happened – so all credit has to go to the amazing team who pulled it together.

Hope you enjoy it! Let me know on Twitter. Tell all your friends if you do! (And no-one if you didn’t…)

Guilty Animals

As a firefighter attempts to outrun his traumatic experiences by making changes to his life, he inadvertently shatters the lives of those around him.
